Why has it reduced from 19th onwards?
Say I have a 200MB video.Can I file split it to 100 files of 2MB each and upload?Say 100 people from US or EU countries download the files 100X100=10000 files.Theoretically I should be paid $100 right?
Do you think video marketing is a good strategy for this?How many downloads can I expect from 1000 views and direct download links in description?Just a guesstimate would do.

The reduction from 19th onwards is because uploading.com is currently having technical problems/glitches like downloads not being counted and so on. These problem(s) were rectified some hours back. Hence the difference.
Yes, you can split the 200mb video into 2 mb each with 100 parts. And yes, you should get $100. But, please take note that any downloader would rather want to download least no. of times than downloading 200mb worth file, 100 times.
About Videos, it all depends on what video you put. If people are waiting for, say a new video by an artist, then you should take this opportunity and share this "new" video with as many interested viewers you can. If they like the video, i'm sure 60% would really download it. It all depends on how you market!

Target a specific niche, invest your time in that niche, and you shall reap the benefits. I'm serious :). But yea, do anything except porn. Sex sells. Not Porn :p

hmm well, loads of niches are there - movies/ tv shows / games / applications
I'm mainly into Movies and Applications. Not just any application, but most wanted applications :). One example is of Windows 7 Build 7068 x86/x64 .
I upload about 40 files a day on three different sites and I am getting on average about $7.50 in downloads. It is a lot harder than you make it seem. What are you uploading and to where? On another note, I requested payment about four days ago and still have not been paid. In the history it shows as approved, what to do?
Like I said above, I'm mainly into Applications on a very rare forum with very sexy traffic. Plus since I'm a moderator over there, it gives me a bonus :). Anyways, whether you go into porn or warez or music or anything, just be dedicated to your work. Don't act lazy when your earnings fall for a day or two. Be dedicated to your work and you shall reap the benefits :). About your status coming as approved, it means the admin has APPROVED your account and now you will be paid with the next batch of payments.
Requested --> Approved --> Completed - This is what you have to follow.
