Hotfile Changes the Affiliate program
Hotfile, which has been growing fast and steady by providing good quality service has decided to change it's affiliate program. The new Affiliate program is as follows :

This will be in effect from 24th June 2009 onwards. This is basically to stop those cheaters who would eat up the money of HotFile, along with other general problems. So, all those loyal uploaders earning tons of money everyday, enjoy your platinum status and upload more like crazy !!

i have to use another hosting now, i dropped to copper,
I switched to Gold instead. Great!!! :D

I am posting two images in which i also didn't understand how i become a platinum. Last day I am copper and today I am bronze. My friend last day gold and today is platinum. I daily only upload 10-15 files greater than 100 Mb and i got download upto 1000 per day and my firend upload daily 25 of all size and got download only 200 approx. And here is the difference
My donwload files 706 last day and 198 today
My friend download files 55 last day and 17 today
I am very confusing what i do. I don't leave if hotfile reverse back its new earning system and stored to old earning system.

Hmm.. I'll tell you a similar case
One of my Friends .. he makes like $4k every month with HF since the start, HOWEVER, with this system, he was dropped to Copper.
Obviously his conversion ratio is good, BUT, it seems that he wasn't getting much premium accounts for the downloaders. Hotfile, apart from the conversion rate, also looks upon how many premium accounts you can sell on a hotfile download link. It seems your friend happened to do it and he was promoted to Platinum stage whereas you must be getting downloads from non premium users only.
Also, keep in mind that this had to happen once HotFile gained enough popularity. They can't keep giving free cash like that. They haven't started shaving downloads yet (and I hope they won't do) But it seems they want to decrease the earnings of just anyone who would not produce enough premium sales.
@phase1 - it all depensd on how many files you upload, how many users download those files, AND how many premium accounts you sell from THOSE files. The more the merrier. ^^
Well..well..well...not so well...I dropped from Gold to Silver even if I upload few files a day and my files are rarely bigger than 10MB and downloaded about 500 times a day. My progress bar is going nearer and nearer to Bronze. How's it going for you all??? I think that If I drop to Bronze I'll switch to another file host immediately. x(
Lol.. im still the same..on silver.. was on 70% silver for 2 days.. and now i saw an increase in teh % from 70 to 74! :X . 1 of my friend who was making as close as $4k / month is now back to Gold from copper! Their script is weird.. only time will tell if hotfile will survive or not! :D
Yeah I think that the script is weird too...I think also that that It's just a way to control your earnings. If you are earning too much..BANG!..you'll drop down to the lower level...:-L
HF is going great for me guys. Thanks to my porn blog <3 .. able to sell premium accounts everyday and im on gold 95% right now.

Mine dropped to not worthwhile for the effort to upload.
Even the platinum rate is lower than yu can get elswhere on downloads alone without sales.
I'll not bother with them now.
i was copper for a month or more and getting only 50 downloads a day , and now im Gold, i cant believe, i did not post more ,even upload a single file and my rank go up to Gold.AMAZING

I just sign up to Hotfile...and my account was bronze, but today is copper.....and none of the downloads have been paid....why?
You get paid on every monday automaitcally if you have $15 or more. None of the downloads paid? Screenshot please.
